The grade 11s are wrapping up their science fair presentations for Mr. van Bemmel's enriched physics class. The students gave professional presentations and created great innovations, experiments and studies on all things physics related.

Ms. Brown's grade nines finished their study on Alice in Wonderland and fittingly celebrated. The annual TOPS Tea Party was held on May 18^th, where the students dressed up and discussed what they learned over tea and biscuits.

This week, Grade 10 students are participating in a three day lecture about the history of the English language. Latin or Celtic, anyone? (read more...)

On March 14 (3.14), math nerds celebrate the great ratio of circumference to diameter. Happy birthday to Albert Einstein too!

TOPS students work hard, but once in a while, "the play’s the thing!" Dedication to study is a wonderful thing - we believe that. Yet we also know that TOPS students need to occasionally just get out and laugh a little. That’s how "TOPS Night Out" started. (read more...)

On October 29th at the DECA regional business competition, TOPS students impressed, winning 18 top 10 ribbons in addition to 2 gold and 2 silver medals! Congratulations, and we wish them luck at their Provincials in February.

Every Thursday, grade 9 and 10 TOPS students gather for Junior Quiz League - an entertaining trivia-style club in which teams of four compete, exhibiting their "trivial" knowledge.
